SnapReady collects and stores the following information ONLY on your device:

• Child Profile Information: Name, birthdate, gender, physical characteristics (height, weight, hair color, eye color, blood type)
• Medical Information: Allergies, medications, medical conditions, distinguishing marks
• Photos: Profile pictures and emergency snapshots of children
• Emergency Contact Information: Parent/guardian name, phone number, and email address
• Location Data: Last known location and address (only if you manually enter it)
• Reminder Settings: Custom reminders you create for photo updates

2. How We Use Your Information

All information is used solely to provide the app's core functionality:

• Creating and managing child safety profiles
• Generating emergency reports with current photos and information
• Sending local device notifications for reminders
• Organizing and storing emergency preparedness data

We do NOT share your data. Period.

• We do NOT sell or rent your information to third parties
• We do NOT transmit your data to external servers
• We do NOT use analytics or tracking services
• We do NOT share information with advertisers

The ONLY way data leaves your device is when YOU choose to share an emergency report using your phone's native sharing features (email, messaging, etc.).

5. Device Permissions

SnapReady requests the following Android permissions to function:

• Camera: To take photos of children for emergency profiles
• Photo Gallery: To select existing photos from your device (Android 12 and older only)
• Notifications: To send reminder alerts at scheduled times
• Storage: To save profile data and photos locally on your device

All permissions are requested only when needed for specific features. You can deny any permission, though some app features may not work without them.

6. Data Security

Your data security is ensured through:

• Local-only storage prevents unauthorized remote access
• No data transmission means no interception risk
• Device-level security (screen lock, encryption) protects your data
• Auto-delete features (optional) automatically remove old data after 30 days

7. Data Retention & Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

• Manual Deletion: Delete individual profiles, photos, or reports anytime through the app
• Auto-Delete: Optionally enable automatic deletion of data older than 30 days
• Complete Removal: Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all data from your device
• Manual Purge: Use the "Purge All Data" option in settings to immediately delete everything

8. Children's Privacy

SnapReady is designed specifically to help parents and guardians protect their children. We understand the sensitive nature of children's information:

• All children's data remains on your device only
• No data is transmitted to external parties
• Parents/guardians have full control over all stored information
• We comply with children's privacy protection regulations by not collecting any data on our servers

9. Third-Party Services

We do NOT use any third-party services. SnapReady does not integrate with:

• Analytics services (no Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• Advertising networks
• Social media platforms
• Cloud storage providers
• Data collection services

10. Subscription & Payments

SnapReady requires a subscription purchased through Google Play Store:

• Payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play
• We do NOT collect or store payment information
• Subscription status is managed by Google Play
• Billing information is stored securely by Google, not by SnapReady

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app and on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all data stored by the app (viewable in the app interface)
• Modify or update any stored information
• Delete any or all data at any time
• Control which device permissions the app can use
